This year, we launched Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE - a fresh floral celebration of destinations around the world. Local floral artists from 10 cities across Canada, United States and Scotland drew inspiration from global travel destinations and created truly unique floral masterpieces that connected the world through flowers like never before. Embark on a floral journey of discovery with these award-winning designs.

1. South Korea Mannequin by Irises Designs, Costa Mesa
Best in Show Award, South Coast Plaza

INSPIRED BY: The timeless elegance of the hanbok and the Siberian tiger, the national animal of South Korea that‘s native to the region and has long been revered as a powerful and majestic animal in Korean folklore, mythology and art.

2. Vietnam Mannequin by Reynolds Flowers, Boston
Best in Show Award, Prudential Center

INSPIRED BY: The vibrant floating markets of Vietnam; captivating hubs of trade and culture that have thrived for centuries, entrenched in the nation‘s riverine lifestyle.

3. Italy Mannequin by Egarden Production, Costa Mesa
Most Realistc Award, South Coast Plaza

INSPIRED BY: A vespa tour of Italy's stunning Amalfi coast, this floral design captures the essence of southern Italy's picturesque landscapes, lemon groves, and vintage Italian sophistication and style.

4. Ireland Mannequin by King Farm, Boston
Most Realistic Award, Prudential Center

INSPIRED BY: The rich heritage of Irish dancing that dates back to the ancient Celts and has evolved into a contemporary art form known for its intricate footwork and vibrant costumes featuring celtic-inspired motifs and embroidery.

INSPIRED BY: the graceful geisha of Kyoto, masters of traditional arts who captivate with their performances, music, and dance, donning exquisite kimono and the elaborate makeup of their predecessors.

6. Cape Verde Mannequin by Bloom Couture Floral Haus, Boston
Florist Favourite Award, Prudential Center

INSPIRED BY: The Carnival of Mindelo on São Vicente Island, the Archipelago’s most colourful event of the year when the streets of Mindelo come alive in a unifying  celebration of music, dance, artistic expression and morabeza - the warmth and hospitality so central to Cape Verdean culture.

7. Nepal Mannequin by Petals by the Shore., Edinburgh
Most Creative Award, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

INSPIRED BY: the courageous female sherpa guides who lead Himalayan trekkers with unwavering determination and encouragement, and also are redefining gender roles and empowering women in the region.

8. Mexico Mannequin by CJ Matsumoto, Costa Mesa
Fan Favourite Award, South Coast Plaza

INSPIRED BY: The Chiapas typical dress, a distinctive and colourful work of art that symbolizes the floral diversity of Chiapa de Corzo and reflects the rich cultural tapestry of Chiapan women, now recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

9. Palm Springs Mannequin by Flowerchild, Chicago

INSPIRED BY: the annual Palm Springs Pride festival and the desert landscapes and vintage glamour of this sun-drenched oasis.

10. India Mannequin by Polycarp Flowers, New York
Most Realistic + Fan Favourite Awards, Hudson Yards

INSPIRED BY: Contemporary Indian bridalwear, complete with ornate jewelry and a blue peacock, a sacred bird in Hindu mythology often associated with beauty, grace, and auspiciousness.

INSPIRED BY: A springtime bike ride through the Dutch countryside, experiencing the iconic windmills and tulip fields, emblems of Dutch ingenuity and cultural pride.

Most Creative + Florist Favourites Awards, Complexe Desjardins

INSPIRED BY: The Yuan Xiao Festival (also known as the Chinese Lantern Festival) – the time-honoured festival that pays homage to ancestors and the enduring bonds of family. As communities come together to celebrate, a botanical phoenix represents rebirth, renewal and good fortune for the year ahead.

13. Venezuela Mannequin by Aniska Creations, Miami
Best In Show Award, Bal Harbour Shops

INSPIRED BY: This Venezuelan mother and daughter floral duo were inspired by the rich cultures and biodiversity of the Amazonas state, home of the world’s largest rainforest that covers 80% of Venezuela.

INSPIRED BY: Flamenco dancing in the intimate tablaos and historic districts of Seville, the heart of Andalusia, where locals and visitors alike can immerse themselves in this passionate artform with its expressive footwork, intricate hand movements, and haunting melodies.

INSPIRED BY: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, affectionately known as Mounties, the embodiment of Canada‘s commitment to law and order, policing vast expanses of wilderness, and forging a nation.

INSPIRED BY: the symbolic colours of the Puerto Rican national flag, and the dynamic coral formations and marine biodiversity of the incredible coral reefs that fringe its coastal waters.

INSPIRED BY: The kaleidoscope of vibrant coral formations and diverse marine life of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and the efforts to preserve this iconic UNESCO World Heritage site.

INSPIRED BY: Pamela Klein, Owner and Lead Designer of Bloome has travelled extensively in Honduras, and was inspired by the proud people who love their land and its beauty: rainforests, waterfalls and mountains. The Bloome team designed this stunning floral tribute  to Christi Carol, a close Honduran friend, wearing traditional dress.

INSPIRED BY: The historic Moulin Rouge cabaret in Paris, birthplace of the can-can renowned for its flamboyant dancers and extravagant costumes. Originally a dance hall that played a pivotal role in the Belle Époque era, the Moulin Rouge has inspired artists, writers, and filmmakers for over a hundred years.

INSPIRED BY: The Chinese Lunar New Year Festival, celebrated around the world to mark the arrival of spring and renewal of life, including traditions such as the Red Lantern Festival and Dragon Dance.

INSPIRED BY: The bustling souks (markets) of Marrakech that have enchanted travellers for centuries. Living embodiments of Moroccan culture and history, souks are a sensory journey, with lively colours, tantalizing scents, and the rhythmic hum of bartering.
