For three weeks only, from 16 September–6 October, stroll through the elegant East Wing Galleries at Somerset House and discover 15 one-of-a-kind fresh floral mannequins by leading British floral designers, inspired by some of Diana's most iconic looks.

Behind every one-of-a-kind floral masterpiece is a remarkable story — from her groundbreaking HIV/AIDS advocacy and humanitarian work to diplomatic tours and her landmark walk through an Angolan minefield. Together, they celebrate how Diana used fashion to connect with people, inspire compassion, and champion the causes she cared about.

What can I expect from the event?‍

Fleurs de Villes DIANA in support of The Diana Award is a fresh floral celebration of the enduring legacy of Diana, Princess of Wales. The exhibition features 15 spectacular fresh floral mannequins inspired by some of Diana's most memorable looks, created by leading British floral designers. Behind every one-of-a-kind floral masterpiece is a remarkable story — together, they celebrate how Diana used fashion to connect with people, champion the causes she cared about, and inspire compassion and action around the world.

The exhibition will also feature interactive photo opportunities and Fleurs de Villes' signature Fan Favourite Award, inviting visitors to vote for their favourite floral mannequin.

Who creates the fresh floral installations?

Every floral installation in Fleurs de Villes DIANA is designed and created by a different British floral designer, transforming thousands of fresh flowers into one-of-a-kind works of art inspired by Diana, Princess of Wales and the causes she championed.

Global flower show Fleurs de Villes creates memorable floral experiences that bring people together through beauty, creativity and the art of floral storytelling. Through the artistry of talented local floral designers, its shows celebrate culture, history, the arts and remarkable individuals whose stories continue to inspire.

Over the past decade, Fleurs de Villes has produced more than 160 floral shows and experiences in 35 cities across five countries, supporting over 1,600 floral artists and attracting millions of visitors worldwide.‍

What is The Diana Award and how does the exhibition support it?

Fleurs de Villes DIANA is presented in support of The Diana Award, the charity legacy established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. Inspired by Diana's belief that young people have the power to change the world, The Diana Award empowers young people to create positive change in their communities and beyond.

A portion of every ticket sold, along with partial proceeds from select on-site merchandise, food and beverage offerings, will help support The Diana Award's programs and initiatives. The partnership will also create paid employment and hands-on experience opportunities for young people during the exhibition.

Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?

The exhibition takes place indoors within Somerset House's East Wing Galleries.‍

How long does the experience last?

Visitors typically spend approximately 40-60 minutes at the experience.‍

‍

Will food and drinks be available for purchase?

Yes. Visitors can enjoy a range of food and drink options at Somerset House before or after their visit, including Aram by Imad and Café Petiole, which will be offering exclusive Fleurs de Villes DIANA-inspired menu items throughout the exhibition run.

Please note that food and drink is not permitted within the exhibition space.

Will there be merchandise for sale?

Yes. A selection of exclusive commemorative merchandise and gifts will be available for purchase on site, subject to availability.

Will additional sessions or dates be added?‍

No. Fleurs de Villes DIANA in support of The Diana Award is a limited-time exhibition running for 21 days only, from September 16 to October 6, 2026. As the installations are created from fresh flowers, the exhibition has a fixed run and no additional dates will be added. We encourage visitors to book early to secure their preferred date and time.

Is there parking nearby?‍

Unfortunately, there is no public parking available on site. Disabled parking bay is located at the Victoria Embankment entrance. We strongly recommend using public transportation. Nearby Underground Stations include Temple (5 min walk), Covent Garden (8 min walk), and Charing Cross (10 min walk).

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

Visitors should arrive at their allocated ticket time to ensure a smooth entry.

‍

What happens if I arrive late?

If you are late or experience any travel issues, please speak to one of our Visitor Experience Assistants at our exhibition upon arrival, and they will try to accommodate your booking at the next available slot. This is not guaranteed.

‍

Can I re-enter the exhibition after attending a floral workshop?‍

No. Floral workshops are hosted in an adjoining space that is separate from the exhibition experience, and re-entry to the main exhibition galleries is not permitted after your floral workshop has concluded. Please plan to visit the exhibition before or after your scheduled floral workshop.

‍

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

Only service animals are permitted within the exhibition.

‍

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the core exhibition is accessible to people with reduced mobility. If you need any assistance before your visit please email visitor@somersethouse.org.uk

Are there allergens present in the exhibition? ‍

Yes, the exhibition features a wide variety of fresh floral displays, which may release pollen, fragrance compounds, and other plant-based allergens. Visitors with hayfever, asthma, fragrance sensitivities, or other respiratory conditions should be aware that exposure levels may be higher than in a typical environment.

Can I bring food and drinks inside the venue?

Food and beverages are not allowed inside the exhibition space.

‍

Do you offer caretaker / support person tickets?

Visitors with disabilities may bring a companion free of charge. You can book a free Companion ticket on the ticket selector. Disabled companion tickets should only be booked alongside a paid ticket. Please note that the companion must enter the venue together with the ticket holder.‍

Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?

Yes, visitors with visual or hearing impairments will be able to enjoy this experience.

‍

Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?

This is a walkthrough experience, but if you need a little rest, you will be able to find some seats for you to have a break.

‍

Will restrooms be available on site?

There are no toilets within the exhibition space itself. However, Somerset House has multiple free public restroom facilities, including large gender-neutral cubicles across the New, South, East, and North Wings. Restrooms are signposted.‍

‍

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Absolutely! Fleurs de Villes DIANA is designed to be photographed and shared. We invite you to capture your favourite floral mannequins, share your experience on social media, and help spread the floral joy. When taking photos, please be considerate of other guests and avoid blocking displays or walkways. Professional photography equipment, tripods and commercial shoots are not permitted without prior approval.

Is there a Lost & Found?

Please ask staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you've already left Somerset House, please call 020 7845 4600 or email us at visitor@somersethouse.org.uk

Is a coat check available?

No, there is no coat check available in the venue. Please note that suitcases and large bags are not permitted in the exhibition space. The nearest luggage storage facility is located at Charing Cross station, a 10 minute walk from Somerset House.

Is there an age requirement?

All ages are welcome! Children aged 3 years and under can visit free of charge, and children under the age of 17 need to be accompanied by adults with a valid child or youth ticket.

‍

Can I bring baby strollers or prams into the exhibition?

‍Access to the interior of the exhibition with baby strollers or prams is not permitted. A buggy park is available free of charge under the Stamp Stairs (LG level) It can be accessed via the Embankment Entrance. Prams and buggies are left here at the owner's risk. Somerset House cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.

Will there be an audio guide?

No, this experience does not include an audio guide.
